Behind the Scenes of Building a Better Agency

Experimenting and Evolving: Behind the Scenes of Building a Better Agency

I’ve been in the lab lately—experimenting, testing, and tweaking everything I do as the founder of this company. It’s not just about running the business; it’s about building it from the ground up, making sure every part of the agency works like a well-oiled machine. I’m talking about creating automations, making processes repeatable, and constantly finding new ways to improve how we operate.

Testing New Approaches: From Pricing to Outreach

Right now, I’m diving deep into everything: tweaking pricing, learning new ways to close deals, and experimenting with how I present my offer. I’m printing flyers, trying out email, text, and direct messaging, and staying in front of the clients I want to work with by engaging with them in different ways on social media. Even the way we delegate tasks and review work internally is evolving. Every piece of the puzzle is being tested and refined.

Making the Team Obsessed with Excellence

One of my biggest challenges? Figuring out how to make my team as obsessed with this vision as I am. I’m trying to create a culture where everyone is inspired to go above and beyond—because that’s what I’ve done for this company from day one. I’ve learned that a healthy level of obsession isn’t about you; it’s about serving, creating value, and making an impact. And now, it’s about figuring out how to instill that drive in my team—whether that means daily check-ins, weekly sync-ups, or something entirely new.

Slowing Down to Speed Up: Investing in New Processes and Tools

I’ve also been slowing down in some areas to set up processes that will speed us up later. I’ve outsourced video production to a team in India, but it’s a learning curve—they’re not quite the videos I envision. I’m also diving into new tools and automations, from creating scripts and blog content to designing carousels and managing my content on VidProject.io, the platform I’ve built.

The goal? To make everything smoother, faster, and more efficient. It’s a lot of trial and error right now, but I know these changes will streamline our work in the long run.

The Ongoing Journey of Experimentation

This is all part of the journey. It’s not perfect, it’s not always easy, and it definitely isn’t finished. But every experiment, every new approach, every failure and win is building something better. So here’s to the grind, the tweaks, and the never-ending push to improve.
